Giroud was missing so many chances before his goal, and you could see the frustration rising. But just before the half-time whistle, Christian Pulisic found himself in the inside left position.
However, from where he could play a right footed cross in towards the keeper, one which Giroud was able to come out and meet on the head, burying it past the keeper.
It’s only his 6th Premier League goal all season, but it’s another vital one. 1-0 to Chelsea at the half.
