(Video) Watch Didier Deschamps unbelievable message to Kante after he turned up late for France training
Kante is, without doubt, one of the best holding midfielders in the world – as he proved in last weekend’s Champions League final.
However, the Chelsea midfielder was called up for the upcoming tournament Euro 20 which starts this month of June.
Meanwhile, following his arrival, France manager Didier Deschamps had a funny response for N’Golo Kante when the Chelsea midfielder turned up late for training.
Apparently, Kante had appeared late because he chose to take the train instead of driving himself.
In this clip, Kante tells his manager he’s late because his train got delayed. The gaffer’s responds: “Just run, you run faster than the train.”
Kante helped Deschamp’s side win the World Cup in 2018. He was arguably Chelsea’s best player in the Champions League this season.
