Chelsea just battered Barnsley 6-0, and while the final goal didn’t mean much, it did produce one interesting little quirk.
Ben Chilwell wasn’t fit to start the game, but he was brought on as a sub in the second half, and picked up an assist not long after.
He got the ball on the left and picked out front man Olivier Giroud with a bending cross that the France striker headed home smoothly.
That wraps this cruise to victory up. There will be far harder tests in the months to come – but this was all good training.
