‘Well enough is enough’ – As two Arsenal players told to join Chelsea to win titles

Likes of Ashely cole, Fabregas and Giroud left Arsenal and join Chelsea to win some major trophies in their career.

However, some Arsenal players has been urge to take same steps and join club like Chelsea to win titles.

Meanwhile, according to Darren Bent, Arsenal stars Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe could leave the Gunners to join Chelsea to win the Premier League title.

Bent believes both players will get tired of Arsenal finishing 7th or 8th every season at some point and would leave to win trophies like Cesc Fabregas did and Robin van Persie did.

“It’s a decision to make. Arsenal’s ambition has to match their own,” Bent told talkSPORT.

“There’s no point in Arsenal [finishing] seventh or eighth every season. At some stage, you’re going to have to make a run for it [league title].

“I’m guessing if the likes of Newcastle United now, and Liverpool and Chelsea, are constantly up there, they could come in for a bid.

“It’s a little bit like the Van Persie situation. We’ve seen it with Fabregas, as well.

“We’ve seen these guys leave because, for Van Persie, they had a really good team there, but couldn’t get over the line.

“He said, ‘well enough is enough’, and went to Manchester United and won the league.”
