West Ham to launch a £30 million bid for Chelsea star, as Blues turn attention to 24-goals Bundesliga forward

West Ham United are preparing to make a £30 million bid for Chelsea striker Armando Broja, with David Moyes looking to add a striker to his squad this summer.

The 20-year-old Albanian international impressed on loan at Southampton last season, and his future is a hot topic of discussion now that the transfer window is open.

Broja scored nine goals in all competitions for Southampton in the 21-22 season, and it is unclear whether the talented attacker will be retained by Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, who is aiming to strengthen his attacking lineup.

According to The Guardian, West Ham are interested in signing the Chelsea teenager, with Broja seen as the ideal signing to provide insurance for Antonio in the No.9 position and give the Hammers more depth up top.

According to reports, Chelsea could want a sum of around £40 million for Broja, who is also wanted by Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Napoli.

Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic is back on Chelsea’s radar

According to Transfermarkt’s Manuel Veth (h/t the Sun), Chelsea is one of four Premier League clubs interested in Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic. Last year, the 24-year-old was on the Blues’ radar, but a transfer to West London never materialized.

He has aroused interest once more a year later, but this time Chelsea will have to fend off not only Premier League rivals Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Leicester City, but also Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Kalajdzic had previously been connected with West Ham, RB Leipzig, and AS Roma. There is no smoke without fire, thus the Austrians’ hype is justified.

Kalajdzic has scored 24 goals and provided 9 assists in 57 appearances for the club during his three-year stay at the Mercedes Benz Arena. Since making his senior national team debut in October 2020, he has gained 15 caps for Austria, scoring four goals.

The striker was sidelined until January due to a shoulder injury, but when he returned, he scored six league goals and assisted on two more to help Stuttgart avoid relegation.

In 33 games the previous season, he scored 16 league goals and assisted on six more. Chelsea’s interest was piqued, and it doesn’t appear to have waned since then.
