What will happen at San Siro next Tuesday – Graham Potter reveals after 3-0 win over Milan
The matchup between Chelsea and AC Milan the next week won’t be simple, according to manager Graham Potter.
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea defeated AC Milan 3-0; the teams would rematch six days later.
The Italian team’s supporters came in large numbers to Stamford Bridge despite being far from home, and their voices were heard.
However, Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, acknowledged that the San Siro matchup next week would have a hostile atmosphere.
He said: “We’re looking forward to going to the San Siro, I am that’s for sure. It’s a fantastic place to play football.
“You saw the away support here – they were very loud and got behind the team so I can imagine what it’s going to be like at the San Siro.
“We’ll have to be strong and be ready for that. It’s going to be a huge challenge for us.”
