Football London has claimed that the Chelsea midfielder on loan to Crystal Palace has decided that he’d return to the club in January if he’s needed to solve the club’s midfield issues.
The 21-year-old joined Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal for the 2021-22 season and has instantly slotted into Patrick Vieira’s setup. Gallagher has been a key player for Palace and has been progressing massively under the Arsenal legend’s watch.
Gallagher has featured in 15 matches this season and scored four goals and made two assists. One of the 21-year-old’s best performances came against Premier League champions Manchester City, where he even scored a goal.
However, it is believed that the club will not ask Gallagher to return in January so he can still continue his development until the end of the season.
