Will fans welcome £180 million rated duo after Granovskaia makes Chelsea promise to Tuchel?
Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia has apparently promised Thomas Tuchel that he will be handed funds to get Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho signed up, but will fans welcome the players?
Tuchel was brought to the club too late in the January transfer window to sign players and put his own stamp on the side, which means that he will have to wait until the end of the season to get the players that he wants and needs.
The likes of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy all arrived for substantial fees ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, but Frank Lampard was unable to get the best out of his players, and he was ultimately sacked by the Blues board.
Now, According to the Sunday World, Granovskaia is willing to shell out £180million for Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland.
Haaland and Sancho are regarded as two of the most exciting players in world football, and they are heavily tipped to pack their bags and leave the German outfit during the summer transfer window.
Chelsea have been linked with both players for some time now, but have not been able to get deals done, as Dortmund have had no desire to let the players leave, but that could change in the summer.
It is claimed that both players are ready to leave Dortmund in the transfer window and will cash in on their star duo, for the right amount of money.
If the reports are true and Tuchel will get some serious money to splash on new players, how exciting would the attack be if the club managed to secure some transfer deals for the talents.
