Willian sends ‘massive’ warning to Chelsea

Chelsea winger Willian has always revealed the love he has for the club and the Brazilian has always given a hundred percent for the Blue jersey.

However, Chelsea fans might have to face the reality that the 31-year-old could play for a rival club next season.

Willian is in the final year of his contract with Chelsea and both parties are yet to reach an agreement, as Willian want a three-year deal but Chelsea are only willing to give him a two-year deal. Willian will be a free agent at the end of the season, and he has now admitted that he could play in the Premier League next season.

Willian said: “My desire is to stay in the Premier League, but I don’t rule out playing in other leagues, no. I’ll play until the end of the season and see what happens.

“The only concrete negotiation was to renew a contract with Chelsea, which wasn’t possible. They wanted a two-year contract and I asked for three.

“Now, everything has stopped. “We hear the rumours, we know that we have interest from clubs, especially because I’ll be free in the market, I’ll be able to negotiate, there are no offers for now.” Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of Willian, having hijacked his move from Tottenham seven years ago, and the Spurs boss could be keen on signing him up for free.
