German admits interest in Chelsea move, Blues can sign talented Italian for free, Rice message sent and Midfielder ‘regretting’ Chelsea decision, fans told in Chelsea247 roundup news.

Mark Noble says that he hopes Declan Rice will remain with West Ham for the foreseeable future, with Chelsea linked with a move.

It is no secret that we are keen to try and secure some sort of transfer deal for the young midfielder, as they reportedly see him as an upgrade to the ageing Ngolo Kante.

It is firmly believed that we will seek to offload a number of players in the coming transfer window in order to help raise some transfer funds, with reports suggesting a big £60 million offer may be made by the hierarchy.

But as rumours continue linking Rice to some of England’s biggest clubs, Noble says he remains hopeful that he may be able to call Rice a team-mate for the foreseeable future, but he does understand how difficult it will be for that to be a reality.

“He’s still learning his trade, he’ll get much better with experience. I’m hoping it’s here [at West Ham] but in this game you never know,” Noble told TalkSport. “I’m sure he’ll be a top, top player and an even better player in years to come.”

Thomas Tuchel has admitted he’s ‘interested’ in taking over at Chelsea after being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain.

Having looked in fine fettle a matter of weeks ago, we have endured a nightmare festive period, having lost three of their last four league games and pretty much ending their chase to win that Premier League title this season.

Lampard has 27 wins, 11 draws and 16 defeats from his 54 league games in charge since replacing Maurizio Sarri in the summer of 2019, and The Boxing Day defeat at Arsenal and draw at home to Aston Villa on Monday mean his win percentage has dropped to 50 per cent.

That has led to even more speculation in the media about the next manager that will be heading to the club, as the pressure mounts on the head of Lampard, with Tuchel now tipped to make the move to the Premier League after getting the sack at PSG.

It has been claimed in the British media over the past few days that Tuchel has indicated to the board that he is very interested in making the move to Stamford Bridge, and that the board are seriously considering whether or not to get rid of the club legend.

But amid all the speculation, EUROSPORT’S ROBERT BAUER has opened up and had his say on whether or not we will hire Tuchel, whether they will get rid of Lampard and how much Tuchel received upon getting the sack from PSG.

He Told EuroSport: : “The contract of the former Dortmund coach at PSG has allegedly already been terminated. Tuchel received a severance payment of six million euros, the report continues. This means that he could start a new job immediately .

Apparently there was contact between Chelsea and Tuchel in 2017, but it seems unlikely Tuchel will take a new job right now, nor that Chelsea will drop Lampard after just a year and a half.

“Tuchel has proven in both Dortmund and Paris that he is a top coach – he could definitely improve this Chelsea team. But it looks like the Blues will give Lampard time. “There have been rumours that Tuchel could even take over the German national team after Euro 2021.”

German journalist Raimund Hinko believes that Kai Havertz regrets signing for Chelsea ahead of Bayern Munich.

Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football right now, the club had to fend off the interest in Bayern Munich over the summer transfer window in order to secure a transfer deal for the brilliantly gifted young man.

However, since his move to the Premier League, Havertz has been constantly criticised for his performances and levels of consistency, with many British media outlets suggesting that he has been a waste of money so far.

And Hinko has opened up and suggested that Havertz is a player that is now regretting leaving the Bundesliga to sign with the club, The BILD journalist said: “Kai Havertz, even if he doesn’t say it out loud, will have already cursed a hundred times that he moved from Leverkusen to the midfield bores of Chelsea, following the lure of money.

“Everything went to pieces. No celebrating Christmas, far away from his family, trapped on the island, not even strumming a few contemplative songs on his piano.

“Instead, watching from the draughty bench against bottom-of-the-table Arsenal in a 3-1 defeat. Then substituted for the last quarter of an hour. “A kind of mercy killing. The maximum punishment for such a great talent.

“Havertz will have kicked himself often enough for not returning Bayern’s interest more vehemently as long as coach Hansi Flick was still interested in him.”

Talented goalkeeper and Chelsea target Gianluigi Donnaruma could be making the switch to England with his deal at AC Milan expiring in the summer.

It was no secret over the course of the summer transfer window that we were very interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for the big Italian before they opted to complete a deal for Edouard Mendy.

But the clubs interest has remained in the Italian this season, especially as there is constant speculation about his future at the Italian giants, and the fact that he has not agreed a new contract to extend his stay beyond the current season.

Despite his tender years, the 21-year-old has been the club’s first choice between the sticks for some time, and looks set to fill the role of the Italian national team’s long-term successor to Gianluigi Buffon.

And with the transfer window opening in just a few days time, it will give the board the opportunity to try and open talks with the agents of Donnarumma, knowing that they are in a very good position to offer the young man a big contract ahead of the summer.

Mendy has been brilliant this season, but we need to add something special to the stopper area, and considering Donnarumma is tipped to become one of the very best stoppers in world football, he is certainly a player that would be a massive signing for the board.

So even though it would probably unsettle Mendy just a bit, we need to keep the club progressing and improving while also adding a bit of competition to the squad, so we would implore the club to make a transfer move.

So now that the window is just a few hours away, would fans like to see Donnarumma make the move to the club?
