Napoli president sends promising Koulibaly transfer message to Chelsea ahead of possible summer move

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has admitted Chelsea transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly may be sold – but only for £81million.

We have been in the headlines alot over the past few months as they seek to build a side that is capable of challenging for all the major trophies next season, and adding a new defender is on the agenda for Frank lampard.

Despite all the attacking flair that we have , and will have, they have one of the worst defences in the premier League and will need to address that with a world class signing in the coming weeks, with Koulibaly on the list.

Regarded as one of the finest defenders in the game right now, Koulibaly has been heavily linked with some of the biggest clubs for months, and Now it seems that the Italians are ready to cash in on the powerhouse after De Laurentiis has admitted Koulibaly may be sold – but only for £81million.

De Laurentiis told Sky Italia: “Kalidou is a wonderful person and of course it’d be sad to lose him.

“Everything has a time and a place, even when it comes to going our separate ways.

“‘Having said that, we don’t have €90m (£81m) on the table and in any case, it takes two to separate.”

Look, we do need to improve this back-line ahead of next season and if there is a chance to sign up Koulibaly, we would be massive fools not to try and get a transfer deal done. so lets get it done.
