Chelsea fans may be about to see a bit more of Billy Gilmour with the Blues back in Premier League action next Sunday.
However, The midfielder was widely praised for the role he played in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup at the start of March, with Gilmour then putting in an equally good performance in the 4-0 demolition of Everton.
Meanwhile, Billy Gilmour had a bit of a moment to forget at the club’s Cobham training base on Friday.
Warming up alongside the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Olivier Giroud and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, the ex-Rangers man had a bit of an accident when trying to go over a small set of hurdles with the team doing some stretches.
The midfielder unfortunately caught his foot on top of the hurdle and came crashing down to the ground right in front of his teammates, who couldn’t contain their laughter as he picked himself up off the ground in embarrassment.
Gilmour did later add a short clip to his Twitter account of his mishap, with Chelsea coach Jody Morris also posting a couple of pictures to his Instagram story.
