REPORT: Two targets to replace Kepa, as Lampard gives Kepa final 9 games for test

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has some decisions to make in the final nine games of this season.

As he prepares for the first match back against Aston Villa on Sunday the 21st of June, Lampard will be closely watching the performances of Kepa Arrizabalaga in training, and then in the final games.

According to The Telegraph, who claim that the Chelsea future of Kepa is not yet safe, and Lampard will decide upon this after assessing him during the final games of the season.

The outlet believes that Kepa will need a strong finish to convince him not to enter the market in his position.

The Spanish international lost his place to veteran backup keeper Willy Caballero for a period this season, but performed well on a few occasions pre-lock-down.

Burnley’s Nick Pope and Ajax’s Andre Onana are two goalkeepers who they mention as potential targets to come in and replace Kepa.
