“10 days left”- as Sevilla sends Jules Kounde positive transfer message to Chelsea
The Blues have been handed a transfer ultimatum for Sevilla centre-back target Jules Kounde.
According to Football London, Sevilla want a deal to be concluded quickly if they are to release their French star this summer.
The Blues are interested in signing the 22 year old France international after his impressive performances for Sevilla last season.
The Blues have been unable to sign the defender valued at around £68million by Sevilla due to the club’s inability to move on Kurt Zouma.
With 10 days left to the end of the transfer window, Sevilla want a deal for Kounde to be concluded in the next seven days.
Meanwhile, Sevilla boss Julien Lopetegui isn’t anticipating an imminent departure of his star centre-half this summer.
He said via Spanish news outlet Marca: “I don’t have the feeling that this is his last game [Sunday’s 3-0 win against Rayo Vallecano]. There is nothing that tells me that he will not continue with us.
“He played a very good game. Things can happen until 31st August. We need to strengthen positions and we are working on it.”
