‘2 years left on his contract’ as Chelsea makes decision on €55m-rated Chelsea star

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are determined to secure the future of N’Golo Kante at the club, with the Frenchman having just over two years remaining on his current deal.

The Blues are reportedly prepared to offer Kante a new lucrative contract as a reward for an excellent season.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is keen on Kante extending his Chelsea contract while Kante is also understood to be happy to extend his stay at Chelsea.

Kante had a brilliant season with Chelsea and has performed well at Euro 2020. He has been tipped by many to win the Ballon d’Or, including his country’s president Emmanuel Macron.

Since joining Chelsea from Leicester City in 2016, Kante has won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Champions League and the Europa League.
