According to Sky Sports, Tammy Abraham has agreed a 5 year deal to join Roma.

The striker has been totally frozen out under Thomas Tuchel, and cameras captured him saluting the fans at Stamford Bridge with a sense of finality, as well as him leaving the dressing room with a packed bag.

Unsurprisingly, here we are a few hours later reading that his move to join Jose Mourinho’s reign in Rome is about to take place.

There is a buyback clause in the deal to give us some comfort, although we’re overall pretty gutted he hasn’t been given more of a chance since Thomas Tuchel came to the club.

Still, once Romelu Lukaku was re-signed, the writing was always on the wall for Tammy. Let’s hope he smashes it in Serie A, and comes back just like Lukaku for a proper chance to be our number one.

Good luck, Tammy!

Spanish club confident of signing 26 year old Chelsea defender

According to Daily Mail, Spanish side Alaves are confident of signing 26 year old Chelsea defender Matt Miazga.

Miazga signed for Chelsea in the January of 2016, making two Premier League appearances in the second-half of the campaign; a start in a 4-0 win over Aston Villa and a start in a 1-0 loss to Swansea, which saw the defender brought off at half-time in the latter.

However, the American international has failed to make an appearance for the Blues since. He’s instead been sent out on loan four times to four different countries.
