Revealed: How Premier League plan to resume games very soon

We are hearing various different plans for football, and whether it will resume or not, and if it does, then how it will resume.

But at the moment there doesn’t seem to be anything significant decided, largely due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus.

However, The Times have outlined the Premier League’s plans to resume football, and it looks pretty clear what they want to do.

Essentially they stay focused on getting the season finished behind closed doors, as such.

The plan involves all remaining games to be played at ‘approved’ stadiums, and is aptly being titled ‘project restart.’

Interestingly, they say that up to 400 people will be allowed inside the stadium to watch, including the media, providing they all test negative for Covid-19.

A lot of this will depend on whether testing is drastically increased in the UK, and social distancing measures will be adhered to as where fit to do so. Government officials have been involved in the planning, suggesting it also has their backing.
