Chelsea loanee Malang Sarr may not have got an opportunity to represent the Blues senior side this season.
However, against one of our biggest rivals, he showcased exactly what he can do. Manchester City may have ultimately prevailed but they were given a scare by a plucky Porto side in the UEFA Champions League.
Riyad Mahrez, in particular, found himself shackled by the young Frenchman, who put in an inspired performance. He was eventually replaced by Evanilson after 80 minutes.
Brought in on a free transfer, Chelsea appear to have a real player on their hands. If he continues to develop as expected, we would be welcoming back an excellent addition to our backline.
