Mendy: Proved his worth this evening as he had to earn his clean sheet with a couple of good saves. His save just before half-time was top class. 8/10
Christensen: Steady and assured display at the right side of the back three. Kept the right side locked all game. 7/10
Thiago Silva: The 36-year-old is definitely fine wine. He’s a stable influence in the heart of defence. Wore the captain band, and gave a captain’s performance as he organised the defence very well and was seen barking out instructions to the younger lads. Very assured on the ball. 8/10
Zouma: Came in for the injured Rudiger, and gave a good account of himself. Had one or two shaky moments at the start of the game, but got better as the match went on. He found a way to run out of the back with the ball a couple of times. 7/10
Reece James: Solid performance as he made Ademola Lookman look ordinary. Was an assured presence in the right flank. 7/10
Chilwell: Was brilliant going forward and had a long pass from deep which led to a fine goal by Kai Havertz. 7.5/10
Gilmour: Started the game looking quite rusty, but he did okay in the middle of the park. 7/10
Mount: Very disciplined performance from the 22-year-old, and his assist for Havertz opener was sublime. Keeps getting better with each game. 8/10
Ziyech: Was given a free role as he hovered around the middle. Should have scored a goal from a fine lay-off from Werner. Looked dangerous at times before being subbed off after the hour mark. 7/10
Werner: Explosive performance. Good assist for Kai Havertz, and he just kept the Fulham defenders busy all game. One word for Werner — electric. 8/10
Kai Havertz: Brilliant performance from the German.. Scored a fine brace and looked dangerous. Good combination with Mount and Werner. 8/10
Subs: Kante: Came on for Ziyech shortly after the hour mark, and did his bit. 6/10
Tammy Abraham: 75th minute sub for Mason Mount. Didn’t really have a chance but worked hard for the team. 6/10
Alonso: Late sub for Chilwell.
