BREAKING: Chelsea set unwanted record after 3-2 defeat to West Ham

The Blues suffered a shock 3-2 defeat to the Hammers away from home in Match-week 15.

However, Chelsea scored the first goal courtesy of a Thiago Silva header from a corner kick. A poor pass from Jorginho to Edouard Mendy gave the Hammers a very cheap penalty, which Manuel Lanzini duly converted just before half-time.

Meanwhile, four minutes later, Mason Mount scored a fine volley to put Chelsea ahead.

11 minutes after the restart, Jarod Bowen drew level for the home side, and it got worse for Chelsea late in the game as Arthur Masuaku scored a fluke goal to give West Ham the victory.

Chelsea could now lose their grip at the top of the table with Liverpool and Manchester City to play afterwards.

The 3-2 defeat has set a bad record for Thomas Tuchel as it’s now the first time the Chelsea team has conceded three goals away from home under the German.
