“It does not represent that” – Leeds boss reacted to Chelsea’s 3-3 draw against Zenit ahead of Premier League clash

The Blues will be looking forward to be back to winning ways this weekend against Leeds united after some bad run in previous games.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel made eight changes to the team that started against Zenit.

Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva and Edouard Mendy were all unused substitutes while the likes of Kai Havertz, Marcos Alonso and Hakim Ziyech played less than 30 minutes after featuring as substitutes.

However, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game between Chelsea and Leeds United at Stamford Bridge, Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa insists Chelsea’s 3-3 draq against Zenit St Petersburg last night doesn’t reflect Chelsea’s true strength.

“The performance from yesterday was with a mixed squad. It does not represent their true strength. Bielsa said.

“In the game against West Ham, which was a defeat, you have to watch and analyse if the result matches the performance. I don’t see a lowering in their play…

“Yesterday’s team was not their habitual team and the result against West Ham, I’m not sure if it’s what they deserved.”
