Just in: Chelsea star set to leave club on loan after recovering from injury
January transfer window set to be close and Chelsea are yet to make any potential signings, however, some Chelsea players are going out of loan before the deadline day.
However, according to Football London, Chelsea attacking midfielder Tino Anjorin is set to join Huddersfield Town on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 20 year old spent the first-half of the season on loan at Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, a deal which included a £17 million option to buy in January, but he was forced to return to England after suffering a broken metatarsal in training back in November.
Following Ralf Rangnick’s departure from the Russian side, the Blues have opted to recall Anjorin and send him on loan to Huddersfield Town for the rest of the season.
Anjorin will join fellow Chelsea loanee Levi Colwill at the Terriers as they look to push for a play-off finish this season.
Premier League side Southampton were interested in signing the 20 year old permanently during the January transfer window and are expected to pursue a deal for Anjorin, who joined the Blues at just nine years old, in the summer.
