Just in: Chelsea finally submitted fresh 25-man squad for second half of the season
After the end of the January transfer window, clubs are expected to submit their full squad for the second half of the campaign, as there may have been additions and exits.
However, as per Premier League regulations, Chelsea have submitted a fresh 25-man squad after the closure of the winter transfer window.
There are no much changes to the squad submitted by the club, with Kenedy the only addition. The Brazilian has been given the No. 23 jersey.
Below are the complete squad Chelsea can use for the second half of the season:
Goalkeepers: Mendy, Arrizabalaga, Bettinelli (h)
Defenders: Rudiger, Alonso, Christensen (h), Thiago Silva, Chalobah (h), Chilwell (h), James (h), Azpilicueta, Sarr
Midfielders: Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic, Saul Niguez, Mount (h), Loftus-Cheek (h), Barkley (h), Kenedy
Forwards: Lukaku (h), Pulisic, Werner, Hudson-Odoi (under-21), Ziyech, Havertz
Note: (h) stands for homegrown. Each squad requires at least eight homegrown players to be named.
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi falls under the Under-21 category (players born on or after 1 January 2000).
