‘Abramovich thinks the same’ – Turkish businessman reveals why Roman Abramovich will sell Chelsea to him
As we all know Roman Abramovich has put Chelsea up for sale, and it is believed that he wants nothing less than £3billion for the club.
However, Turkish businessman Muhsin Bayrak had previously claimed that he’s set to fly the Turkish flag in London. And now, Bayrak has confirmed that he has put in a bid less than £2.5billion, which he believes will be enough to buy Chelsea.
He told Oda TV: “I won’t tell you, we need to manage this process very well or we will lose,”
“There are other countries that want Turkey not to accept it.
“Let it be a bit of a secret, let’s get the consent of the other party until Thursday. Our offer is below that [£2.5BN], at least I can tell you that.
“We have reached a certain stage. Our law and finance department will start talks with theirs in London on Thursday. That’s the way it is at this point.
“On Thursday, we’ll notify the Public Disclosure Platform. People are talking about it, we made some progress in the talks, and the world believes we have a 90% chance of completing the deal.
