After Pulisic another £200,000-a-week player ‘has decided to quit’ Chelsea at the end of the season

According to Football Insider, Timo Werner is already prepared to leave Chelsea after signing from RB Leipzig last summer.

Regarded as one of the finest young strikers in world football right now after scoring other 20 goals last season in the Bundesliga, and he was supposed to be the striker that Chelsea have been missing over the past few seasons.

The 25-year-old striker has improved slightly after Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard in January, but his goal return remains below expectations. He’s scored just five times in the Premier League in 27 appearances after netting 28 times in Germany last season.

This past week, he was heard being berated by Tuchel from the touch-line for his positioning, though his manager has also been understanding of his slow start in other moments, but now Chelsea fans could see him leave the club at the end of the season.

Reports have claimed that Werner is now ready to depart the club at the end of the current season and maybe make the move back to the Bundesliga, where a few clubs are reportedly eyeing up a possible deal.

Look, if the reports are true and Werner does want to leave the club at the end of the season, it will not be the kind of news that Tuchel wants to hear, as he clearly rates the young German.

But he was brought in to score the goals, he hasnt done that, he is struggling.

So if there are better options out there that would do the job that Chelsea are paying them for, then they should let him leave
