Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez and reports even claim that the Blues are willing to double his current wages in an attempt to lure the Inter Milan striker to Stamford Bridge.

Martinez has a release clause of £102 million which Chelsea is reportedly willing to trigger.

Despite all the rumours surrounding Martinez, with Barcelona also keen on his signature, the player’s agent Beto Yaque has been speaking about how the rumours have affected the 22-year-old.

Yaque told Mundo Deportivo: “He treats it (the speculation) as if it is nothing, because he is only focused on his club.

“But surely there is great satisfaction knowing that he is doing things well.

“Lautaro has a five-year contract with Inter and the news that comes out is exclusively generated by the press.”

“If any club can meet his release clause of £102 million then he’s ready to leave.”
