Ashley Cole claims player sold by Lampard dribbles better than Liverpool duo

Ashley Cole makes claims that Chelsea was quite in a hurry to sell Tariq Lamptey who dribbles better than the Liverpool duo.

The England international make a swap to Brighton and Hove Albion in January. Cole believes that he is a better dribbler than Liverpool duo Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Lamptey joined Brighton for less than £5million and the deal has no buy-back clause in it. This states that Chelsea cannot sign Tariq Lamptey from Brighton through a buy-back clause. He has been with Chelsea from the age of eight and is one of Chelsea’s Standout academy players.

Recently Lamptey became a member of the England under-21 football team and has impressed with a catching display in his Chelsea debut. The 19-year old has been one of Brighton’s standout players as he continues plying his trade outside Europe.

There is a number of players at Stamford Bridge who were brought up at Chelsea academy. But instead parted ways with the club due to little game time. Although there is a good number of right-backs in England and more established than Lamptey. But only a few can rise as quickly as Brighton star Tariq Lamptey.
