Barcelona big-money signing could make move to Chelsea
Barcelona have reportedly offered French forward Antoine Griezmann to Chelsea, as the club look to reduce their wage bill.
According to football London, the Catalan giants are willing to sell Griezmann – who currently has £500,000 a week salary – in this summer’s transfer window and have made contact with the Blues to discover their potential interest in the Frenchman.
Thomas Tuchel is believed to be a fan of the 30-year-old, with the German looking to sign a centre-back, a midfielder and a striker this summer.
Griezmann played 51 games across all competitions for the Catalan giants during the 2020-21 season, founding back of the net 20 times and providing 13 assists.
France international forward has also rumoured with a switch to Chelsea’s direct rivals Arsenal in the recent months.
The 30-year-old forward despite his struggles at Barcelona still could be a perfect addition for Chelsea.
