Barcelona reacted to Chelsea’s move for €50million midfielder
According to latest reports in Spain, Chelsea are reportedly interested in a move for Barcelona midfielder Gavi, who has a release clause of €50million in his contract with the Spanish side.
However, The 17-year-old midfielder has become a key player with the Blaugrana, bagging two goals and three assists from 27 appearances across all competitions.
Gavi’s performances have already earned him recognition with the Spanish national team. He has already won four caps under manager Luis Enrique, all from the starting XI.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona are not worried about Chelsea’s interest in signing Gavi this summer.
Barcelona are confident Gavi will snub Chelsea’s advances and extend his stay with the La Liga side and it is believed new contract talks are already at a final stage.
