And according to PA news agency – the French winger has been waiting on Chelsea’s ownership situation to be resolved before making a decision over his future – especially as his preference is to join Chelsea
And Chelsea could also have an advantage during negotiations as Thomas Tuchel already has a positive relationship with Dembele from their time together at Borussia Dortmund.
Meanwhile, It is believed that Dembele is looking for a wage of around £300,000-a-week – which would make him one of the highest paid players at Chelsea – should they complete a transer
