Barcelona told Chelsea to pay £35m for World-class player, Agent drops clear transfer message to Chelsea, as Porto star could sign for Tuchel

According to Football london, Chelsea linked Philippe Coutinho could be available at a cut-price this summer. Apparently, with the transfer window approaching, Barcelona are willing to let go of the player and cut their losses.

The Blues have been after the former Liverpool midfielder for a while now but they could not prise him away from the Catalans. However, now it has been said that the player could be let go for a very modest fee as agreed by Barcelona and Ronald Koeman.

Coutinho was a huge talent during his Liverpool days and was one of their best players under Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp. He regularly chipped in with goals and assists.

A neat dribbler of the ball, the Brazilian can crack open the meanest of defences with ease. He has still got all that in his locker, as we saw at Bayern.

His Barcelona blip can largely be put down to a few factors. It seemed like he would be the perfect replacement for Andres Iniesta but it has been anything but.

While Chelsea really don’t look like they need another attacking midfielder with the likes of Mount, Havertz and Ziyech, the reported price point of £35m should at least make them reconsider.

The agent of Achraf Hakimi has come out and sent a clear transfer message to Chelsea and any potential club in the summer.

Impressive standards have been maintained at Inter since his move from the Bundesliga, with six goals and five assists recorded, allowing his valuation to rise further over the past 12-18 months.

Premier League suitors are said to be mulling over big-money raids but freeing Hakimi from a contract that is due to run until 2025 will not be easy, or cheap, and Hakimi’s representative, Alejandro Camano, has told Calciomercato of the speculation surrounding his client: “As of today, he is very happy to play for such an important club. I don’t know what the future holds, but I say today that Hakimi is happy and his team is Inter.

“The objective is to win the Scudetto. After that, Inter’s situation at the club level is complicated, but I repeat: we are very happy here in football terms.

“He has a five-year contract, we signed because we were so confident of Inter’s project. We’ll see what happens in future, but this is a very important step in his career.

“We certainly don’t intend on leaving the team in such a delicate situation.”

Look, we have said it before and we will say it once again, if we are actually interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for Hakimi, then they have the financial and pulling power to get a deal all wrapped up.

Porto star could be signed by Chelsea for bargain price this summer

Chelsea could reportedly be handed the chance to land Porto star Jesus Corona for a cut-price €20 million this summer because of a clause in his contract with the Portuguese side.

That’s according to SIC Noticias, who explains his deal with the Dragons includes a clause that will see the player’s valuation fall year on year if Porto do not sell him.

As a result, this saw Jesus’ price drop from €50m to €30m in 2020, and it will fall again in 2021 to €20m, although the clause is only active between May and June, with a secondary clause seeing Corona’s value rise by 50 per cent again in July and August.

Thus, the Blues have a small window to get a player they have been looking at since the previous year for something of a bargain price.

According to BolaVIP, Chelsea have already expressed their interest in the star on repeated occasions.

Back in May, a report stated the west Londoners had initiated talks to sign the Mexican, with his entourage confirming as much a month later.

That was followed by claims he’d cost €30 million, which falls perfectly in line with what SIC Noticias are saying about his deal now.

Of course, Thomas Tuchel’s side never made a swoop for him, but perhaps this summer is the perfect time to get him.
