“Beautiful player”- Arsenal legend loves Chelsea star quality play against Newcastle
Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech may not have gotten a goal or an assist against Newcastle, but he had a good game nevertheless.
The Moroccan international would have gotten at least an assist, with a fine cross for Tammy Abraham, which was well saved by Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
Ziyech showed up some good moves with his sleek display, before being subbed off late in the game. By then, Arsenal legend Ian Wright had seen enough to fall in love with former Ajax star.
Wright posted a tweet, with the caption ‘ Ziyech beautiful player’.
Another player who had a good game was Antonio Rudiger, and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was full of praise for the Blues defender.
“I was pleased with his performance it’s not easy,” the Chelsea boss said.
“I talked before the game about having five centre backs a lot of managers would say I’d love five centre backs but it brings difficulties because you can only pick two if you are playing a back four.
