Believe me he’s better than Auba – Tuchel told to sign 24-year-old Italian world-class striker

According to reports, Raheem Sterling doesn’t fit the description, so Tammy Abraham has been pushed to return to Chelsea as their primary striker.

Following a €40 million transfer to Italy, the 24-year-old scored 27 goals last season, helping Jose Mourinho’s team and the Italians win the Europa Conference League.

However, there has been a lot of media talk that he would return to the Premier League, as several clubs, including Chelsea, are very interested in a potential deal.

He is said to have a £68 million clause in his contract that clubs can choose to activate. Because Chelsea lacks a striker like him, these rumors are dominating headlines.

Whereas Simon Jordan, a football commentator, believes Raheem Sterling is a very talented attacker, he doesn’t have the offensive prowess Abraham possesses, thus the Blues should attempt to re-sign the attacker. Sterling transferred to Stamford Bridge in the current transfer window, while Abraham joined Roma last summer.

Jordan said: “Both Chelsea and Manchester United need centre forwards, Abraham has scored 17 or 18 goals for Roma last year, I am not sure why he is not in the conversation for Manchester United or Chelsea.

“Even sides that clearly have a need for a certain type of player, because I don’t think Raheem Sterling is going to be the answer for Chelsea from a focal point.”

However – they will have a hard time getting a deal done after Abraham admitted he is happy at Roma – he told Corriere dello Sport of the transfer talk he has been generating: “The first day I arrived at Roma I felt at home.

“I’m in no hurry to return to the Premier League because here I can express my way of playing. In Italy I feel happy in every respect.

“Believe me, I don’t think about the future, but about the present.

“I focus exclusively on the season that is about to begin, because I want it to be even more rewarding than the first I experienced in Italy.”
