Chelsea boss frank Lampard is ready to compete for the titles next season and the Blue Boss is keen to strengthen his squad and one of the position hes keen to improve is the left-back.

However, Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell has been linked with the club, but his transfer fee might make the Blues look at other options, due to the £80m fee being mooted.

In other news, The Atalanta star Robin Gosens has been linked with Chelsea as an alternative choice, and is likely to cost less than half the fee Leicester are demanding, with a £27m price tag mooted, and the Italian club are prepared to listen to offers, reports claim.

It might even be that Gosens too, is open to a move and appears to already be keeping tabs on recent happenings at Chelsea, with eagle-eyed fans spotting he had ‘liked’ a comment on Instagram from Werner.

The good part is that they do not follow each other – which suggests Gosens has been looking through Chelsea related posts. Timo Werner posted a picture from his first day at training, and it was liked by Gosens, which has prompted responses from the Blues community.

“Man I’d be super psyched if he joined. It’s risky, but it’ll be glorious if it works out,” wrote one Chelsea supporter about Gosens.

One supporter suggested Werner’s post must have been recommended to Gosens, given that they do not follow each other, another replied: “Which means he’s actively looking at Chelsea related posts!”

Gosens has impressed this season in the Serie A and Champions League for Atalanta, scoring nine league goals and registering eight assists for Atalanta this term.
