Blues fans reacted as defender agreed five-year summer transfer deal
Chelsea fans have reacted to the news that Marc Guehi has been allowed to leave Chelsea for Crystal Palace this summer
Guehi has been on the books since 2007, having seen his potential spotted early and there are many coaches at the club that firmly believe that he has the quality to be a top-level defender
Much of his experience to date was, however, collected while with Swansea in 2020-21. He made 45 appearances for the Swans in all competitions, helping them to the Championship play-off final, and also figured for his country in the group stage of the European U21 Championship.
But the club have now made the decision to let the defender leave the club in a deal that will cost Palace around the £20 million mark.
Guehi is undergoing a medical with Palace and will be signing a five-year contract through to the summer of 2026
But after seeing the news that the club will be allowing Guehi to leave the club this transfer window, Fans have been taking to Twitter to voice their frustration that another talent is leaving the club.
