Boehly targets £65m star as first Chelsea signing, as Marco Alonso future at Chelsea in doubt

According to latest reports via Mirror, The Blues are set to be free to sign and sell players after the takeover of the club by Todd Boehly’s consortium.

Now, according to reports reaching us, Monaco centre back Aurelien Tchouameni is at the top of Chelsea’s shopping list this summer.

However, Real Madrid have long been favourites to land the 22 year old, according to Sport, but now according to Marca, Chelsea are ready to make an approach. The Spanish paper though also say that Liverpool will be contenders.

Monaco are not expected to be able to resist offers for Tchouameni – but the French club are expected to want around £65 million for the centre back.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wants at least one top class centre back to add to his squad, with both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen on their way out of the club this summer – Rudiger to real Madrid and Christensen to Barcelona.

Marco Alonso future at Chelsea in doubt

According to reports, Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso’s future at the club may be in doubt after the Spanish player fall-outs with Tuchel.

However, Alonso was subbed off at half time in the draw against Wolves by Tuchel, with Di Marzio reporter Nathan Gissing stating that he and the Blues boss had a “heated exchange” after the first half – although the club have denied talk of a bust up between the pair.

The Spanish international, now 31, has been linked with Barcelona even though he has another year left on his contract. Now though, matters could be accelerated according to Di Marzio writer Nathan Gissing on @DiMarzio.

Reports also claims that, Alonso could be heading to Barcelona this summer following the fall outs with Tuchel
