Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.
The 20 year old has been in sublime form since the turn of the year. The German has been directly involved in 17 goals (10 goals, 7 assists) in 2020, two more than any other Bundesliga player.
According to German outlet Bild, Bayer Leverkusen have warned Chelsea they won’t slash their €100 million asking price for the 20-year-old midfielder.
Leverkusen had been expected to lower their asking price for the German international due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Havertz, normally an attacking midfielder or winger, can also play the false nine role and has scored four goals in his last two games for Bayer Leverkusen.
