BREAKING: Chelsea reject bids from Barcelona and Atletico for Willian

Chelsea have rejected £35m from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for Willian, Sky Sports understands.

The Brazilian winger has one year left to his contract, and the La Liga sides decided to use this to their advantage.

However, Chelsea have decided to keep hold of him in hope that Willian accepts a new two-year contract that the Blues have reportedly offered him.

A big part in the West London club’s decision to reject the bids is played by the transfer ban which prevents them from finding a replacement on the transfer market.

Barcelona have long been linked with Willian and tried to sign him a year ago, but Chelsea rejected their £55m final offer.
In January, the Catalans returned to this possibility, but Chelsea ruled out a move once again.

Willian has twice won the Premier League with the Blues
Earlier, the Sun has claimed that Chelsea laid a two-year contract on the table for the Brazilian.

The 30-year-old player joined the Blues in 2013 and played 292 games for our club, scoring 52 goals.
