The Premier League set to restart on June 17, Premier League clubs have been made aware of the provisional fixture list.
However, Chelsea’s first game after the Premier League restarts is a trip to Villa Park to face relegation-battling Aston Villa. The date for the fixture is June 21 and the time is 4:30pm. The Blues beat Aston Villa 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are planning to play a friendly fixture against a Championship side ahead of the season’s resumption.
According to Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella, the Blues are planning to play a pre-restart friendly against Queens Park Rangers soon.
Chelsea played an intra-squad 11v11 game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, and the Blues will face QPR next. With both clubs being London clubs, there won’t be need for any to travel. QPR are currently 13th in the Championship.
