According to latest reports, Frank Lampard may be set for a return to the Premier League soon enough as report claims he is in talks with Norwich City over succeeding Daniel Farke at Carrow Road after Newcastle snub him

However, Farke was axed over the weekend after a poor start to the campaign, with the first ten league games of the season ending without a win for the Canaries.

Lampard who has been out of work since he was sacked by Chelsea ten months ago is in contention for the job along with Dean Smith who was recently axed as Aston Villa manager.

Lampard had impressed while as Derby County manager as he almost guided them to the Premier League. Lampard was eventually sacked as Chelsea manager in his second season at the club after an impressive first campaign where he guided a young Chelsea squad to a top four finish.

Frank Lampard will be interviewed for the Canaries job this week. It’s unclear if former Villa boss Dean Smith will be available for the job as he may need some time off. This is According to the Telegraph.
