Breaking: Premier League set to release new rule that will benefit Chelsea
The Blues are blessed with a big squad, and this of course whilst having benefits to the manager and for the team, can often create a struggle to keep all players happy and motivated.
But there is something that could come into play in the Premier League soon that may help Chelsea manage this more and keep all players motivated.
However, according to The Times, the temporary rule allowing teams to make up to five substitutes is set to become permanent thanks to strong support from several influential football bodies.
They claim that bringing this in would then put pressure on the Premier League to fall into line with the rest of football next season, when it is expected to come in to play.
This would mean that players sat on the Chelsea bench would feel they have more chance of getting game time week in week out, with more chances of being subbed on.
