BREAKING: Tuchel makes Cristiano Ronaldo final decision after Todd Boehly meets his agent

Cristiano Ronaldo, a star player for Manchester United, has been linked to a summer transfer to Chelsea.

The meeting between Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has fueled speculation over Ronaldo’s possible departure from the team.

Ronaldo desires a new challenge, and with Manchester United likely to participate in the Europa League, he wants to compete in the Champions League next season.

Although he considered it, Thomas Tuchel decided against bringing Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel responded to a question about a Ronaldo transfer by saying, “I wouldn’t rule out acquiring another striker, but it’s not our priority.

After Marina Granovskaia left the club last month, Todd Boehly, the club’s new American owner, assumed the position of acting sports director.

Boehly is open to signing Ronaldo and is eager to make a marquee signing to signal their new ownership, but Thomas Tuchel is opposed to the deal.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Tuchel is opposed to the move, which corroborated rumours concerning Ronaldo.

Romano claims: “Thomas Tuchel has decided against Cristiano Ronaldo signing, as things stand. Jorge Mendes had talks with Todd Boehly but final decision has always been up to the manager. #CFC

“Chelsea are now focused on different deals – Tuchel isn’t keen on signing Cristiano.”
