Bye Bye Kepa as Lampard interested in signing impressive Bundesliga star this summer window!

Chelsea are lining up a shock £15million move for Borussia Dortmund keeper Roman Burki, as a replacement for Kepa. Kepa is the world most expensive stopper after Chelsea decided to fork out for his services once Thibaut Courtois finally got his move to Real Madrid just a couple of transfer windows ago.

The Spaniard has not been amazing, but he has been solid between the sticks since his move to Chelsea, and there hasnt been many in the media that have doubted that he could be the clubs number one for many seasons.

However, there has been some reports in the media which have suggested that Frank Lampard has asked the Chelsea hierarchy to get rid of Kepa during the summer transfer window, as he has not been impressed and wants to bring in a more established stopper for next season.

Now reports on the SUN website have claimed that Burki is the latest player to be linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer, after catching the eye of the Blues over over the past few weeks.

The report goes on to claim the Blues are banking on a cut-price deal as he only has one year left on his contract, and Burki, who has played more than 150 games for the Bundesliga club, is up for a Prem switch.

Kepa is the world’s most expensive keeper and fears he could be priced out of a transfer, Yet if Chelsea land Burki on the cheap they may decide to cut their losses on the unsettled star.

Kepa is a decent young stopper that has many years left in the game and it is a shame to see that Lampard reportedly does not trust him, but seeing as Chelsea need to get back challenging for that premier League title, you can see why Lampard wants to change a few things.

Look, it will be interesting to see if Kepa does leave the club at the end of the season and if Chelsea bring in a replacement, but for now, we just want the football to come back as we are missing all the action. Then Chelsea can decide if they really want to acquire Burki.
