Champions League winner informs Boehly and Tuchel he wants Chelsea transfer deal done!

According to Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel, Cesar Azpilicueta wants to leave Chelsea during the upcoming summer transfer window.

In his tenure in west London, Azpilicueta has won the Champions League, the Europa League, and two Premier League championships, but because his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, there has been a lot of media conjecture.

Despite speculations that Barcelona is interested in signing the seasoned right back, the club captain wants to depart but is reluctant to file a transfer request out of respect for the organization he has served for ten years.

Despite the fact that the player has one year left on his contract and could be acquired for a discount price, they are unwilling to pay a transfer fee, which is leading to some serious tension between all parties.

Now, despite all the rumors and conjecture, CBS journalist Ben Jacobs has come up and stated that Azpilicueta has informed Chelsea co-owner Boehly and coach Tuchel that he wants to move to Barcelona this summer.

Speaking to GMS, the CBS reporter said: “Cesar Azpilicueta has been a model professional. He’s waited patiently as Chelsea and Barcelona negotiate. Chelsea want a seven million fee – the same amount they paid for him in 2012 when he joined from Marseille.

“Azpilicueta is training with Chelsea in America currently but has made it clear to Boehly and Tuchel he does want the move.”
