REPORT: Chelsea board set to complete massive £67m signing of World-class defender to make fans happy

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is ready massively to improve the Blues defence after a heavy defeat against Sheffield United on Saturday evening.

According to recent reports, Chelsea are now ready to complete the signing of highly rated Inter Milan defender Milan Skrinair after holding talks with the players representatives for weeks now. The London giants are now looking to bring in the defender in the coming weeks.

Chelsea have already improved their attack with the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner but yesterday’s performance showed that Chelsea still needs to invest massively in their defence. The signing of Milan Skrinair from Inter Milan will massively improve the defence.

25-year Old Skrinair is regarded as one of the best defenders in Europe and he has been a Chelsea target for a long time now. Numerous reports have stated that Chelsea are set to agree a £67m deal with Inter to complete the transfer for the player.

Frank Lampard has been unable to find consistency in in defence this season with the likes of Kurt Zuoma, Andreas Christensen, Toni Rudiger and Fikayo Tomori failing to consistently perform for Chelsea this season

However, the arrival of Skrinair to Stamford bridge will massively improve Chelsea’s defence as the Slovakian defender is of massively quality.

A move for 25-year old Milan Skrinair seems to be done as Chelsea director, has held talks with the player’s agent and Inter Milan’s officials and we could expect a deal to be completed in the coming weeks.

However, The heavy defeat to Sheffield has certainly opened Chelsea’s eyes to the fact that their defence isn’t good enough to compete for trophies. Although, Skrinair will improve the team and Chelsea fans can be optimistic about his arrival.
