Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia make transfer decision on Jeremie Boga

According to Sport Mediaset, Chelsea are not interested in re-signing former winger Jeremie Boga.

The 23 year old Ivory Coast international has impressed since leaving Chelsea for Serie A club Sassuolo and the Blues were reportedly interested in bringing him back to Stamford Bridge.

Boga is highly-rated in Italy after scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 25 games across all competitions this season.

Boga left Chelsea for Sassuolo in the summer of 2018 for around £3.5million and the Blues reportedly have a buyback option of £13 million.

However, Boga revealed in March that he had intentions of returning to Chelsea in future.

“When I was there, it was Willian, Hazard, Pedro,” Boga told The Athletic. “When Mourinho was there, it was Salah.

“There were a lot of good wingers. For me, it has always been if I can’t play, then I will try to go on loan or try to go somewhere to improve, then maybe come back one day.

“I think our generation was one of the best Chelsea ever had.

“We had so many talented players. It was not easy but every weekend, we were so used to winning 2-0 or 3-0.”
