Chelsea have reached an agreement with Serie A giants, Napoli for the €20m (£17.95m) sale of French anchorman Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to the latest reports.

Former AS Monaco midfielder has struggled to make an impression in his first season at Stamford Bridge in 2017-18 and has spent the subsequent three campaign away on loan.

Following spells with Serie A giants, AC Milan and AS Monaco, the 26-year-old now finds himself at Stadio San Paolo, where he is once again working with Gennaro Gattuso and feel happy to represent them in the Italian top-tier.

Napoli paid €2m (£1.8m) to take Frenchman on loan for the current campaign, and Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that an arrangement is already in place for a permanent deal to go through next summer.

The French anchorman has featured six times for Italian giants in all competitions so far this season, assisting one goal and failing to find the net.

Chelsea another midfielder N’Golo Kante has been also rumoured with a switch to La Liga giants, Real Madrid, while Jorginho’s future also remains up in the air as recent reports claim that Juventus are still in the hint for his services and planning January move for his signature.
