Chelsea decision made– as Spaniard ‘will be allowed’ to complete transfer move

Cesar Azpilicueta will be permitted by Chelsea to complete his desired transfer to Barcelona.

With Azpilicueta’s contract expiring at the end of the upcoming season, there has been a lot of media speculation over his future. He has won the Champions League, Europa League, and two Premier League championships during his tenure in west London.

Despite speculations that Barcelona is interested in signing the seasoned right back, the club captain wants to depart but is reluctant to file a transfer request out of respect for the organization he has served for ten years.

Now, it appears that Azpilicueta will leave the team, according to Diario AS, who report that Chelsea’s new owners have chosen to keep their word to the club captain regarding allowing him to join the Catalan giants.

Azpilicueta is reportedly willing to leave Chelsea for just £3 million this summer, and the Spanish team is willing to extend their offer to him by an additional year.

Azpilicueta has excelled for Chelsea over the past few years and is a player Tuchel can count on, but he is obviously focused on making one last move, and the club should permit him to do so.

Since they already had Reece James in that position and a substantial transfer budget, it would be acceptable if he requested to leave the team.

However, Fans won’t want to see him go, but in the end, men, if his heart isn’t with the Blues, it’s time to move on.

But with only a few weeks until the start of the season, they’ll need to move quickly to sign a successor in case he truly leaves the team.
