Chelsea loan who does not have much playing time under Lampard has become a world class player

Former Chelsea midfielder Scott Parker is the current boss of Fulham, and the 40-year-old has given a glowing account of Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Loftus-Cheek is currently on a season long loan with Fulham, and Parker has been pleased with his recent development.

The 24-year-old had struggled since suffering an Achille injury in 2019 that kept him out of action for more than a year.

Since his return from injury, Loftus-Cheek has struggled to reach his best performance and had to be sent out on loan.

Loftus-Cheek had initially struggled at the start of his loan spell with Fulham, but is now beginning to be a top player.

Parker was especially pleased with his performance in a 32 minute cameo against Everton. Loftus-Cheek came on in that game and won a penalty for his side and also got a goal in the 70th minute.

The Chelsea midfielder has been hailed as a top, top player by Scott Parker.

“I thought he was brilliant,” the Fulham manager said of Loftus-Cheek. “We have worked really hard with Ruben in terms of the information I am trying to give him and him as a player and how he can have a big impact this year.

“Sometimes I feel like Ruben has a tendency for games to drift him by but today was everything we have spoke about with him.

“He came on, made a difference and looked every bit of a top, top player. He got on the ball, was brave, scored a goal and was dynamic and if you get him in between the lines, with confidence, he has that raw ability.

“He will be big for us this year. He needs to keep working and listening to what we are saying to him, but no doubt he will keep improving.”
