Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko was sent out on loan to Monaco last summer, and the Ligue 1 side have an option to buy him out permanently for €42m.
However, Monaco who sold Bakayoko to Chelsea in 2017 aren’t keen to keep the Frenchman whom they sold to Chelsea.
Bakayoko struggled to live up to expectations after moving to Chelsea in 2017 as he couldn’t cope with the intensity of the Premier League.
Maurizio Sarri didn’t bother give Bakayoko a chance and he went out on loan to AC Milan, who also opted against keeping him after he fell out with former Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso.
Bakayoko’s deal with Chelsea runs out in 2022, and with the French league now cancelled, Bakayoko will be set for a return to Chelsea.
